Nadia Wicker’s work interested us due to her intimate and private view as self-portraits.
She says, “the “me” that I imagine are sometimes obscure and dark, sometimes clinical and air, but not egotistical. My self-portrait’s are a way to train my skills and please me. Today is a bubble: a space where anything goes and where I mix my knowledge, auscultation self a little anxious a little bewitched.”
A preview of her work to come for FIFTY8’s first issue.
